Recently I did a fun interview with a popular United Kingdom Gambling Website about how one goes from being a retired investigator to “one of the most reputable “true crime” biographers to date.”   A nice compliment. They were most interested in how a man like me got to meet and write about a mobster like Frank Cullotta.   They also cover a little bit about the recent news that the book “Cullotta” could help bring the Sharff Family some closure to theirs father’s murders.  I think it was a well done piece. Although we all too often hear about children who have been murdered by family members or child predators, there are many more who are victims of crimes that we don’t hear about. On Wednesday, February 3 at 9 pm Eastern – 6 pm Pacific, we’ll address the issue of missing and exploited children. Good news!!  My associates and I began filming the pilot episode for our proposed TV series Crime Wire on January 26th.    The show will profile a variety of cases including cold cases, suspicious deaths and current solved and unsolved murders. One of the Crime Wire team members is a nationally known domestic violence victim’s advocate. Several episodes will address the Domestic Violence  issue by re-enacting actual incidents and providing guidance for women in abusive situations that might actually save their lives.
