My new book project, “Surviving the Mob,” is ready to be sent to the printer and will be released before Christmas. It is the story of former Gambino crime family associate Andrew DiDonato. In his own words, you’ll learn how organized crime has changed over the years. From the early days when family members were considered to be men of honor, to the post-Gotti era where the bosses are concerned only about themselves; and loyalty runs strictly from the bottom up.

My previous Mob-related books dealt with those earlier times. Working with Andrew on his biography and finding out what modern-day organized crime is like was truly an eye-opening experience for me.

I think you too will enjoy hearing about life in the Mob from a street soldier’s perspective. Andrew lived in a world where there are few winners or happy endings. He’ll tell you what happens when you make wrong choices in your life and start down a road from which it is very difficult to turn back. You’ll come away realizing, just as Andrew does, how lucky he is to be alive.

Yes, Andrew survived the Mob. But many of his friends did not. And even though he is alive and free today, those poor choices cost him his family, friends, and his very identity.

After publication, we will release a book signing and appearance schedule.

Pre-order your copy of Surviving the Mob today!

My newest book is another organized crime biography. This time I’m the co-author with a former Gambino crime family street soldier.

Surviving the Mob is the story of Andrew DiDonato, who was an associate of the Nicky Corozzo crew of the Gambino family from 1983 until becoming a government witness in 1997. It’s a fascinating look at how a criminal gang operates through the eyes of a street soldier. We’re shooting for a release date late this year.
