March 30 Show Update

On March 30, Kim Kolton and I will discuss the tragic case of the murder of Debi Whitlock. On March 25, 1988, the 32-year-old was murdered and then raped in her Modesto, California home. Initially Debi’s husband Harold was a suspect in his wife’s murder, but he was never charged.

Nine years passed without an arrest. But Debi’s mother, Jacque MacDonald, never lost hope that the case would eventually be solved. She pursued her own investigation into her daughter’s death, leaving no stone unturned. Her dedication was rewarded in 1997 with the arrest and conviction of the killer.

An account of the case titled No Room For Doubt was written by Debi’s step-daughter, Angela Dove, and was released last year. Kim and I will be joined by Jacque, Angela, and Lisa DeSantis of the Merced County Victim/Witness program, to discuss the Debi’s murder and its aftermath.

My New Book Deal

My newest book is another organized crime biography. This time I’m the co-author with a former Gambino crime family street soldier.

Surviving the Mob is the story of Andrew DiDonato, who was an associate of the Nicky Corozzo crew of the Gambino family from 1983 until becoming a government witness in 1997. It’s a fascinating look at how a criminal gang operates through the eyes of a street soldier. We’re shooting for a release date late this year.

Please visit http://www.survivingthemob.com for more information and photos.  Don’t forget to get on the Update List to keep up with the latest news about the book, public appearances and other information.
